Sustainable Sanitation Design (SuSan) is currently working with setting up a Secondary Treatment Unit (2nd TU) to upgrade human excreta to safe and valuable agricultural input. The project is carried out in Kakiri, a western suburb to Kampala in Uganda. The picture shows the truck delivering the first 4 000 litres of faeces.
